A two-vehicle Israeli military force advanced into Wadi al-Raqad in western rural Daraa and fired a heavy weapon towards empty farmland before withdrawing, the Observatory reported. It said the force set out from the Abu al-Ghaithar gate towards the valley, noting that there were no reports of casualties or material damage resulting from the gunfire.

The incident comes amid continued Israeli movements and advances in parts of rural Quneitra, with residents fearing the impact on their security and safety. It added that residents are facing repeated raids, searches and gunfire in the area.

Israeli patrol moves west of Saida al-Hanout

In a separate incident, an Israeli forces patrol comprising eight military vehicles advanced on Sunday west of Saida al-Hanout village in southern rural Quneitra. According to the Observatory, the patrol moved between the village homes and fired into the air, while drones flew over the area.

This followed the detention by Israeli forces of three shepherds during their advance into Abu Madhara farm, located near Saida al-Hanout village, in the preceding hours. The Observatory said the forces later released the three shepherds, while military movements continued in areas of southern rural Quneitra.
