Qatar welcomed 285,000 visitors in July, reflecting the tourism sector’s strong performance, supported by the country’s diverse attractions available year-round, including leading landmarks and destinations, events and festivals, as well as the authentic Arab hospitality for which Qatar is known. Statistics released by Qatar Tourism on its official website showed that the total number of visitors in July 2026 reached 285,000, compared with 318,000 in July last year. A total of 174,000 visitors arrived by air, accounting for 61% of all visitors, while 109,000 arrived by land, representing 39% of the total. According to Qatar Tourism statistics through the end of July, GCC countries remained the largest contributor to international visitor numbers to Qatar since the start of the year, with more than 818,000 visitors, representing 40.2% of total arrivals.
