The attack came after Ukraine shelled a Russian gas condensate processing plant on Friday at the port of Ust-Luga on the Baltic Sea.
Limited damage in Samara
In Russia's Samara region, authorities said Ukraine targeted industrial infrastructure on Saturday. Ivan Noskov, head of Samara, the regional capital, said air defences had repelled what he described as a large-scale attack.

Campaign targeting energy facilities
Ukraine has previously targeted the Syzran oil refinery on the Volga River in the Samara region of southwestern Russia, as part of its campaign to target energy facilities and pressure Moscow to end the conflict that has continued for more than four years.
