Egyptian actress Menna Shalaby underwent medical examinations at a private hospital in the Dokki district of Giza after suffering a health problem and digestive-system-related pain in recent days, while media reports said her condition did not require surgery.

Reports about Shalaby’s health came after news circulated that she had undergone surgery, sparking concern among her fans and prompting followers to wish her a speedy recovery and a return to her artistic work.
According to the reports, the actress underwent the necessary examinations to check on her health, and is expected to leave the hospital after doctors have completed their assessment of her condition.

The health problem coincided with Menna Shalaby’s continued artistic activity. She took part in the 2026 Ramadan season in the television series «Sohab Al-Ard» alongside Eyad Nassar.
She also recently completed filming the series «Anbar Al-Mawt», starring Ali Kassem, Rushdy Al-Shami and Basma, directed by Karim El-Shenawy, with Mariam Naoum overseeing the writing. She is also attached to a number of anticipated artistic projects in the coming period as she recovers.
