Artistically, Mahmoud Hemeida won the Best Actor award at the 2026 Casablanca Arab Film Festival for his role in the film «Complaint No. 713317», which also won the grand prize.
According to information reported by Sada El Balad, citing exclusive sources, Hemeida is currently holding work sessions with the team of a Sudanese film in preparation for taking part in filming the project, which is expected to be screened at a number of film festivals next year.
The website noted that Hemeida is not the only Egyptian actor being considered for the project, with its details set to be officially announced in the coming days.
