Prince Harry and his wife Meghan are due to make their first public appearance since returning to England on Thursday, during a tour of three charities in the central English city of Nottingham. The tour comes six years after the couple stepped down from royal duties to rebuild their identity in Britain.

First Nottingham appearance since engagement

Harry and Meghan first appeared together in Nottingham after announcing their engagement in 2017. The tour includes a visit to the Community Recording Studio, which uses music, performance and sports programmes to help young people build confidence and develop practical skills.

The couple are also due to visit Himmah, the largest food bank in central England, as well as Epic Partners, which provides sports, educational and mentoring programmes for less fortunate young people.
