beIN Sports will begin broadcasting the new European football season live and exclusively on 12 August across 24 markets in the Middle East and North Africa, with coverage including several leading domestic leagues and UEFA club competitions, three weeks after the 2026 FIFA World Cup final.
The UEFA Super Cup opens the season
The season’s coverage begins with the UEFA Super Cup in Salzburg, where Paris Saint-Germain, the UEFA Champions League winners, will face Aston Villa, the UEFA Europa League winners. Aston Villa will make its first appearance in the competition since 1982, while Paris Saint-Germain will seek to retain the trophy and win the title for the second consecutive time.

Domestic leagues get under way
Domestic league action begins on 15 August with the Turkish Super Lig and Spanish La Liga, while the French Ligue 1 and English Premier League will begin on 21 August. Arsenal, the English Premier League titleholders, will open their season at home against newly promoted Coventry City.
The Spanish league will see José Mourinho return to the Real Madrid bench after an absence of 13 years, while European champions Paris Saint-Germain begin their defense of the French league title.
beIN will broadcast all English Premier League, Spanish La Liga and French Ligue 1 matches live and exclusively in the Middle East and North Africa, alongside selected matches from the Turkish Super Lig.
Salah begins a new chapter with Trabzonspor
The season will have a regional dimension as Egyptian star Mohamed Salah begins a new chapter with Trabzonspor after leaving Liverpool. Salah led the Egypt national team as captain to the round of 16 at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and selected Turkish league matches featuring him will be broadcast live and exclusively on beIN Sports and the TOD from beIN streaming platform.
European club competitions return
European club competitions return later in August, with beIN covering the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League, including the decisive two-legged playoff ties before the league phase begins in September.
The opening night of the UEFA Champions League is scheduled for 8 September, with the competition concluding with the final at the Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid.
In addition to live matches, the coverage will include dedicated studio programs, analysis and commentary from regional and international football experts. Coverage will be available through beIN Sports and TOD from beIN in Arabic, English and French.
