Yemeni government forces announced new battlefield gains on the fronts in Marib governorate as part of the “Dawn of Yemen” operation, amid fighting described as heavy with the Houthis and air strikes on two Yemeni governorates.
The Dawn of Yemen operation continues in Marib
The field operation in Marib was conducted as part of the operation named “Dawn of Yemen”, according to the government forces’ announcement, as fighting with the Houthis continued on the governorate’s fronts.
Alongside the fighting in Marib, air strikes targeted areas in Hodeidah and Amran governorates. The air strikes coincided with clashes on the ground between government forces and the Houthis.
