Ebola death in Kenya exposes screening gaps and widening regional outbreak
Kenya has recorded its first Ebola death after an infected man arrived from the Democratic Republic of the Congo via Uganda, despite passing screening procedures at Entebbe and Nairobi airports. Authorities are tracing dozens of contacts and passengers as the outbreak expands in the Congo amid weak health infrastructure, conflict and the spread of a strain for which no vaccine is available.
