Hong Kong steps up mpox response after 21 cases recorded since August
Hong Kong health authorities have strengthened prevention and vaccination measures in response to a rise in mpox cases after 21 infections were recorded since August, accounting for 70% of the total cases reported in 2026. The authorities announced a new infection in a 29-year-old man, bringing the total number of cases recorded this year to 30.
